Web Browser Error for Java 1.7

Issue:

Error with web browser when viewing NexOSS and SDReporter

Troubleshoot:

There have been several changes in Java 1.7 that cause errors with web browsers when viewing NexOSS and SDReporter.

Solution:

There are two solutions available for the issue.

• The first is to upgrade your software to the newest release of SDReporter or NexOSS. The free version of SDReporter 6.0.1 is available for download here. To upgrade NexOSS, please contact TransNexus.

• The work-around solution for this issue is to uninstall Java 1.7 from your computer and reinstall Java 1.6.

  • How to Uninstall Java 1.7 from Windows

    • Go to Control Panel / Uninstall programs. Uninstall all Java programs.

  • How to download and install Java 1.6

    • Go to the Java archives at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html.

    • Select Java SE Runtime Environment 6u45. Select the appropriate version and click to download.
