Issue:
SBC reported the connection unavailable and some RADIUS records/CDRs were not reported in OSPrey. The “Failed to parse” messages are logged in FreeRADIUS log file, radius.log.
Log messsage:
"Error: rlm_osp: Failed to parse `%{Acme-Disconnect-Cause}` in request for `q850releasecause`."
Troubleshoot:
You can verify whether or not the connection is available by examining the captured RADIUS records and the OSPrey CDRs.
Solution:
For Acme SBC, check the accounting-config in the SBC to be certain that the generate-interim is set to “Unsuccessful-Attempt”. This will request Acme SBC to report failed call attempts. “Reinvite-Response” is not used and causes this error.
