Issue:
The old files, such as CDR files, log files, etc., were compressed repeatedly with a “.gz.gz.gz…” suffix.
Troubleshoot:
The behavior of gzip is changed in Ver 1.5. In the prior versions, it does not compress any file with “.gz” extension. In Ver 1.5, it does compress files with “.gz” extension.
Solution:
We have updated the ulility scripts to handle this case.
